How to Summon the Lurker of the Deeps in War Within
War Within has many new mounts, pets, toys and other secrets, one of the early hype ones is from the Lurker of the Deeps. Here’s how to get your very own Ol’ Mole Rufus mount.
The Lurker of the Deeps is a five-player summon that will trigger a World Boss to spawn in the Ringing Deeps. One minute after the region-wide announcement goes out, the boss will spawn. Anyone can tag and kill the Lurker, but five people will need to head to the locations to summon it.
Lurker of the Deeps Lever Locations
A quick TLDR of the locations is below, plus a pin map which was posted by a member of the Wowhead community.
/way #2214 49.4 8.8 Lever 1
/way #2214 53.9 25.2 Lever 2
/way #2214 57.6 23.5 Lever 3
/way #2214 62.8 44.6 Lever 4
/way #2214 59.0 92.3 Lever 5Ā
As we said at the start, you’ll need one person in each location to activate the levers at the same time, well, you get about 10 seconds to do it but you know, don’t mess about. Also, if you fail, you will get another chance as the Levers will respawn around 30 seconds after they are clicked. This can āeasilyā be plugged using /1 chat, but best to go in a group anyway.
The Lurker will spawn one minute after the message appears in chat, the message is how you will know you did it correctly; āAs the earthen machinery turns, something begins to stir in the nearby lakeā.
/way #2214 60.8 76.6
This is the location where the Lurker will spawn.
Mole Mount ā Ol’ Mole Rufus
Once all is said and done, you’ll get a disgusting lovely new mount to add to your collection, the Ol’ Mole Rufus. It’s a fitting mount for the effort we guess, but again, it’s always annoying when we have a mount that can’t fly.
