Indianapolis Colts give undrafted free agent rookie $60K guaranteed

The Indianapolis Colts are signing undrafted free-agent rookie linebacker Craig Young following the 2024 NFL Draft, and they are giving him a notable signing bonus.

The Kansas product is listed at 6-foot-3 and 226 pounds with 33-inch arms. He ran a 4.56 in the 40-yard dash and added a 37-inch vertical to go along with a 10-foot-8-inch broad jump.

According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC2, the Colts are giving Young a $20,000 signing bonus and an additional $40,000 guaranteed on his base salary.

Young spent three seasons at Ohio State (2019-2021) and his final two seasons at Kansas (2022-2023). He recorded 101 tackles (71 solo), 10.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks and three passes defensed in 25 games at Kansas.

Young split time between linebacker and the slot during his final year so he could be a hybrid type of player the Colts may want to look at.
