Inside Gwyneth Paltrow’s Intimate Goop Dinner at Her Montecito Home With Loro Piana

“I promise everyone will be in bed by nine,” joked Gwyneth Paltrow to an intimate group of around 40 guests at her Montecito home in California. The goop founder, in collaboration with Loro Piana, hosted a note-perfect evening outdoors surrounded by lemon trees and California coastline fauna on Friday evening. “We are thrilled to partner with Loro Piana for the first time,” Paltrow noted, adding that similar to her own lifestyle brand, Loro Piana “finds beauty in creating quality, timeless pieces that are thoughtfully designed.”

Guests in attendance included friends and family of Paltrow’s, such as husband Brad Falchuk and children Apple and Moses Martin. Arrivals began at the top of the driveway, which allowed for a picturesque photo moment, followed by a stroll down a tree-lined path that unfolded into the main lawn where cocktail hour was enjoyed.

Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King, Nicole Avant and Ted Sarandos, Rob and Sheryl Lowe, Whitney Wolf Herd, Brigette Romanek, Anine and Nico Bing, and others mixed and mingled adorned in Loro Piana attire as a live, local Santa Barbara band played acoustic music.

In keeping with Montecito’s reputation as the ‘American Riviera,’ a fresh Italian-inspired dinner was served atop elegant blue and white porcelain dinnerware from Loro Piana’s L’Art de la Table Collection. “Coming together here in one of the most beautiful places, Montecito, felt like the perfect celebration,” Paltrow said. Much of the evening’s décor was Loro Piana, from the wicker baskets and pillows to the cashmere blankets—soft accents that complemented Paltrow’s tranquil garden setting.

As attendees bid farewell, they received a gift bag stocked with luxe goodies, including a Loro Piana scarf and an assortment of Goop beauty products. As for the time? Guests stayed seated enjoying themselves well past nine.
