Intense heat causes cramping for more than one Eagles starter in Week 4
There have been very few bright spots in the Eagles Week 4 game against the Buccaneers, and in the second half, things went from bad to worse as the team tried to combat the heat. Reed Blankenship left the game before halftime due to illness, and then both Jalen Carter and Cam Jurgens were questionable to return due to cramping.
Injury Update: C Cam Jurgens (cramps) and DT Jalen Carter (cramps) are questionable to return.

At times, the real feel temperature was near 110 degrees, and with the humidity, this was a suspected problem heading into the game. Itās certainly not an excuse for the teamās overall poor performance, but it wasnāt exactly a non-factor, either.
Landon Dickerson stepped in at center with Jurgens sidelined, and Tyler Steen came in at left guard. Carter, thankfully, was able to return to the game with over nine minutes left to play. But, the Eagles were down 33-16 at that point, so it was just a nicety.
