IRONMAN Wales results 2024: All the winners, podium finishers and times from an epic day in Tenby

The eyes of the triathlon world may have been on Nice on Sunday, but a good portion were also thinking about the epic event that is IRONMAN WALES.

While Laura Philipp, Kat Matthews and co were doing battle on the French Riviera, thousands of Age Groupers were in action on the Pembrokeshire coast as Tenby rivalled Nice for sheer swim/bike/run enthusiasm.

The day began with athletes and fans assembling on the beach to sing the Welsh national anthem before the race started, and continued with epic performances all the way from the terrific athletes. Topped off with a dash of sporting royalty with the likes of former Wales rugby great and now triathlon lover Shane Williams (11:31:01 for 12th in the 45-49 category and 116th overall).

We’ve rounded up all the key results from Wales on Sunday, to give a rightful moment in the sun for all those podium finishers.
