1. What happens in Chapter 161 of Oshi no Ko?
The spoilers do not disappoint, as always. According to them, Aqua discovered that Hikaru Kamiki attempted to murder his daughter Ruby by persuading Fuyuko Niino to do the crime on his behalf.
With this final straw, Aqua decided to take matters into his own hands and kill Hikaru to preserve Rubyâs future. It appeared that Aqua had had enough of his fatherâs falsehoods and intended to kill him.

The chapter spoilers began with Crow Girl discussing Hikaru Kamiki. After killing everybody who could outperform Ai Hoshino, Hikaru got obsessed and imprisoned himself.
He used his amazing charisma to disseminate his philosophy and recruit others to work for him, essentially starting a cult. His prior dignity had faded, and he was now fulfilling his ambitions by killing others.
This is also why, despite his feelings for Ruby Hoshino, killing her felt like fate to him.
2. Does Aqua kill Hikaru?

Just as Hikaru notices Aquaâs knife, Oshi no Ko chapter 161 spoilers show him attempting to manipulate Aqua Hoshino. He explained that Aqua killing him would not be so horrible because it would raise Aiâs life value to a new level.
Hikaru immediately moved the narrative to the conclusion of Rubyâs idol career, knowing that Aqua wouldnât care much.
Aqua Hoshino could slay his frail father with a knife, but Rubyâs idol career would be cut short if he took such action, as the media would not support her as the sister of a killer.
They would disregard the truth about the murder and identify Ruby as a âmurdererâs sister.â In the end, Rubyâs dignity and career will be destroyed as she will be stained with that mark for life.
Hikaru Kamiki advises Aqua not to stab him, stating that it is in his best interest. Hikaru then attempted to influence Aqua further by detailing all of the things he would miss out on if arrested for his murder.

In Oshi no Ko chapter 161, Aqua agreed with Hikaru, per spoilers. He aspired to be a surgeon, understand Arima Kanaâs emotions, visit the beach with his half-brother Taiki Himekawa, address Miyako Saitou as âmom,â return Akane Kurokawaâs compassion, and see Ruby play at the Tokyo Dome.
Nevertheless, Aqua Hoshino was willing to give up all of his goals to secure his sisterâs future. To accomplish this, there was only one option: kill Hikaru Kamiki.
Hikaru attempted to dispute with Aqua, but he interrupted him and announced his new strategy. He intended to sacrifice himself so that the media would not pursue Ruby.
Aqua Hoshino stabbed himself with the knife, intending to die along with Hikaru. He did so because such evidence would lead the media to conclude that Hikaru attempted to kill Aqua following the pre-release of the autobiographical film. With this, Aqua pushes Hikaru, and they fall off the cliff.
