Is Michael Pittman Jr. practicing Thursday? Latest injury update on Colts wideout

The Indianapolis Colts have an injury concern with wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. ahead of their Week 10 game against the Atlanta Falcons.

Pittman Jr., who is in the midst of what could be a career year, popped up on the injury report on Wednesday with a glute issue and did not participate in practice.

That put Pittman Jr.’s status up in the air for Week 10, although there is some good news to report on his status on Thursday.

Is Michael Pittman Jr. practicing Thursday?According to James Boyd of The Athletic, Pittman Jr. is indeed practicing on Thursday.

“Colts who *are* practicing: CB Sauce Gardner (concussion), RG Matt Goncalves (personal), CB Kenny Moore II (Achilles), WR Michael Pittman Jr. (glute),” Boyd reported.

Boyd did not reveal if Pittman Jr. was a full or limited participant. We’ll get our answer to that later in the day, and we’ll update this page once that’s available.

Regardless, this obviously puts Pittman Jr. back on track to suit up on Sunday against the Falcons.

If Pittman Jr. doesn’t play on Sunday, Alec Pierce and Josh Downs would receive a bump, as would tight end Tyler Warren, although Warren is already a must-start player.

Downs and Pierce would be flex options in the event Pittman Jr. sits, although Pierce would probably be the better starting option of the two.
