‘It’s a bad look…’ Leon Edwards’ UFC London opponent criticizes ex-champion for fight week behavior
Sean Brady believes Leon Edwards is representing himself badly ahead of their clash at UFC London.
Leon Edwards will return to the O2 Arena in London for the fifth time of his UFC career this Saturday when he takes on Sean Brady in a late notice put together main event.
Edwards was originally scheduled to take on Jack Della Maddalena but the Aussie was upgraded to fight Belal Muhammad for the title at UFC 315 instead.
The Brit is looking to rebound from a disappointing last outing which saw him lose his 170lb title to Muhammad last July at UFC 304.

Not only that but ‘Rocky’s’ head coach, Dave Lovell also revealed after the fight that he went into it with a back injury and Edwards even considered pulling out of the fight.
Brady and the Brit faced off earlier this week for the first time and Brady sent Edwards an ominous warning, labelling him as ‘skinny’.
With their fight now just a few days away, this Thursday, the American contender criticized Edwards for his behaviour during fight week, stating that he thinks the former champion is overlooking him by thinking of a rematch against Muhammad.
“I think that’s a bad look on Leon to be thinking about other people when all I’m thinking about is fighting him,” Brady began to explain at the UFC London Media Day.
“He’s thinking about number one contenders and getting back at Belal and talking s— about Belal but he’s got someone who’s trying to kill him on Saturday night in front of him and he has more things to be concerned about than being number one contender in the division,” Brady continued.
Sean Brady reacts to public backing from Belal MuhammadDespite initially mocking the matchup between Brady and Edwards, Muhammad went on to back Brady in the fight, leaning on Brady’s grappling skillset.
“I mean, I really don’t care (that Belal is backing me), I believe in myself, I don’t care who else believes in me and that’s all that matter,” Brady explained.
Muhammad handed Brady his first professional loss back in 2022 when he scored just his third UFC finish in 19 fights.
Although Shavkat Rakhmonov is likely the next welterweight contender to fight for the title, either Brady or Edwards could potentially secure a rematch against Muhammad with an impressive performance on Saturday night.
