Jackson Holliday live stats, updates, highlights from Orioles prospect’s MLB debut vs. Red Sox

Welcome to The Show, Jackson Holliday.

The Orioles are calling up baseball’s No. 1 prospect to the big leagues just a couple weeks into the 2024 season.

Holliday, 20 years old, will debut for Baltimore on Wednesday, April 10, on the road against the Boston Red Sox. First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. ET.

Top prospects make major league debuts every season, but Holliday’s call-up was a highly-anticipated one. Since the Orioles drafted him No. 1 overall in the 2022 MLB Draft, Holliday’s dominated the minor leagues.

Already a highly-touted prospect prior to the draft, he further improved his stock crushing minor-league ball. In 155 games, Holliday made 727 plate appearances, posting a .321/.451/.497 slash line, 15 home runs, 93 RBI and 29 stolen bases.

Holliday made his case to debut Opening Day after an excellent 2024 spring training with Baltimore. He slashed .311/.354/.600 through 15 games and 48 plate appearances.
