Jake Paul is earning a massive purse for his big Netflix debut this Friday night, but he’s re-investing it into his outfit for the event.

The social media sensation has moved up to heavyweight to face Mike Tyson in a massive crossover bout this weekend at the AT&T Stadium. And he is leaving no stone unturned in making it one of the biggest events of all time.

He drew a massive crowd, including the world’s media, to the Toyota Music Factory in Irving, Texas on Tuesday evening for an open workout. And he is set to break multiple records before a punch is even thrown on Friday night in Dallas.

Even at Tuesday’s open workouts, he wore a chicken head costume while hitting pads and appeared in his element with the crowd.

And speaking on the Talk Tuah podcast with Hailey Welch, he detailed how he has already spent a solid chunk of his massive eight-figure purse for the Tyson fight on a ring outfit. He claims it will be the most costly ever in boxing, and that he has invested seven figures in the spectacle.

“This outfit that I’ve made for the fight is the most expensive fight outfit in the history of boxing,” he explained on the popular shpw. “It’s $1million, it cost a pretty penny and it is very shiny, that’s the hints that I will give.”

And he also teased a special ring walk, adding: “For the walkout, I’m going to be driving in a certain vehicle to the ring, and the rest you’re going to have to wait and see. The song is kind of relating to Mike Tyson’s career and a film that he did.”

Over 282million subscribers are already signed up with Netflix, who are broadcasting the bout as a free part of their monthly package. This means that there is scope for it to become the most viewed live-streaming sporting event of all time.

Paul has also boasted that they are going to break records for live gate in the state of Texas, with a massive attendance expected at the AT&T Stadium. Over 60,000 tickets are reportedly already sold, with more expected this week as events continue.

In fact, it is believed that the massive showcase bout will become the highest-selling American boxing show of all time outside of Las Vegas. Paul tweeted this month, alongside a green tick emoji: “Biggest boxing event live gate $ in US history outside of Las Vegas.”
