It all starts when a bedraggled, orphaned, 3-week-old kitten joins the household. Prince Nimbus leads his knights into battle against an ancient foe, with all the action taking place in an ordinary house over the course of a year.
The book is part of the authors Tales from the Kingdom of Fluffiness, which chronicles the imagined lives of different household cats.

Authors Biography:
Janet Steele is a professor of anatomy and physiology at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Tales from the Kingdom of Fluffiness began during COVID-19 when one of her students brought her a bedraggled, orphaned kitten to add to her household of cats. That poor kitten grew into the handsome Prince Nimbus, ruler of the Kingdom. The author and her husband serve the Kingdom as the serving wench and tall valet, respectively.
