Jamie O’Hara went from delight to despair following Ollie Watkins’ late winner as Jason Cundy accidentally broke his Apple Watch.

The talkSPORT hosts couldn’t contain their emotions as they celebrated England’s dramatic winner over the Netherlands to secure their place in the Euro 2024 final.

A controversial penalty from Harry Kane shortly afterwards levelled the game up, before Watkins sealed his place in England folklore with a 90th-minute winner.

On as a second-half substitute for Kane, the Aston Villa striker rifled into the bottom left corner from an acute angle to spark wild scenes inside Borussia Dortmund’s Signal Iduna Park.

And it wasn’t just the England players and fans in Germany that reacted wildly, with O’Hara and Cundy left stunned.

As they went from jumping in the air to celebrating on the sofa, Cundy was still seen grabbing O’Hara’s wrist, leading the latter to jokingly state: “Get off me!”

Later on in talkSPORT’s live watchalong of the Euro 2024 clash, O’Hara noticed the interface on his watch was frozen.

He told Cundy: “You’ve broke my watch? What have you done?”

Even if he barely touched the ballTo which a confused Cundy replied: “What’s happened? What have I done?”

But O’Hara quickly forgave his colleague, as he insisted: “Don’t worry, I’ll figure it out.”

O’Hara, who has been critical of boss Gareth Southgate this tournament, then lauded him for his second half substitutions against Netherlands.

It was Cole Palmer, who replaced Phil Foden, who delivered the assist for fellow substitute Watkins in a double change.

He remarked: “Southgate, you legend! You made the decision, you were proactive and it’s happened for you.

“There you go my son, that’s what we’ve been asking for, we’ve asked for it, you delivered, get in you beauty.
