Jaylen Brown And WNBA Star Kysre Gondrezick Get Cozy On 2024 ESPY’S Red Carpet

Jaylen Brown of the Boston Celtics walked arm-in-arm with WNBA player Kysre Gondrezick at the 2024 ESPY Awards on Thursday (Jul 11), seemingly confirming romance rumors.

The pro athletes arrived together at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles ahead of Brown taking home the award for Best Championship Performance.

Although neither athlete has confirmed nor denied a romantic relationship, they appeared rather cozy as Gondrezick placed her hand on his chest for pictures and held his arm.

While speaking to Cam Newton on the carpet, Brown also made sure to compliment his date when he was asked about not attending the 2024 Paris Olympics.

“I don’t really got no comment, you know what I mean,” he said. “I got my beautiful date right there.” Newton chalked it up to him “deflecting” from the question.

Brown and Gondrezick first sparked dating rumors when the former Chicago Sky player joined him for the Celtics’ championship parade last month.

Cam Newton: “How do you feel about the USA Team right now bro?”

Jaylen Brown: “What do you mean?”

Cam: “Why aren’t you there? Do you feel a way?”

Jaylen: “I ain’t really got no comment. I’m with my beautiful date tonight.”

Prior to being spotted with Brown, Gondrezik dated Houston Rockets player, Kevin Porter Jr., who was arrested after he allegedly assaulted her last year.

After pleading guilty to misdemeanor assault and harassment charges, he was dropped from the team and later signed to the Los Angeles Clippers.

Reportedly, Gondrezick told police that Porter had repeatedly punched her in the face and strangled her, but then retracted her statement a month later saying, Porter “never balled his fists up and hit me. And he definitely didn’t punch me in the face numerous times.”

Brown is also newly single as he revealed in an interview with Good Morning America in June.

“I don’t have a family, I’m single, so I been binge watching Harry Potter,” he spoke of his downtime while waiting for the NBA Finals to start back in June.
