Jessica Alba files for divorce from husband Cash Warren after nearly 17 years of marriage
Jessica Alba filed for divorce from her husband, Cash Warren, on Friday after nearly 17 years of marriage, Page Six can confirm.
The actress submitted her petition via her high-powered celebrity attorney, Laura Wasser, and the businessman filed his response immediately thereafter through his lawyer, Adam Philip Lipsic.
Alba, 43, and Warren, 46, both listed their date of separation as Dec. 27, 2024, and cited âirreconcilable differencesâ as the cause.
They requested joint physical and legal custody of their three children: daughters Honor, 16, and Haven, 13, and son Hayes, 7.
The pair did not sign a prenuptial agreement despite Albaâs Honest Company being valued at $623 million and Warrenâs sock and underwear brand, Pair of Thieves, being worth at least $100 million, TMZ reported.

News first broke on Jan. 8 that the longtime couple had separated.
Eight days later, Alba confirmed she and Warren were âmoving forward with love and kindness and respect for each otherâ as co-parents to their kids.
âIâve been on a journey of self realization and transformation for years-both as an individual and in partnership with Cash,â she wrote on Instagram.
âIâm proud of how weâve grown as a couple and in our marriage over the last 20 years and itâs now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals.â
Alba went on to ârequest privacy at this time,â adding that the former coupleâs children remain their âhighest priority.â

The âHoneyâ star and the film producer met on the set of âFantastic Fourâ in 2004 and tied the knot in 2008.
Their split made headlines just a week after the family of five was all smiles during a trip to Universal Studios to celebrate Hayesâ birthday.
Alba shared several snapshots that showed her and Warren grinning with their kids during the outing.
âThe best day at #UniversalStudios celebrating our 7ïžâŁ year old, Hayes! đđđïžđąđ„ł Thank you for having us, @unistudios đ«¶đœ,â her caption read.
The Honest Company founder also posted about her Thanksgiving vacation to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, with Warren and their children.
âHappy #Thanksgiving from me and mine to you and yours đ«¶đœđ€ Sending lots of love and light,â she captioned a photo of her family posing together at sunset.

Over the years, Alba and Warren had been forthcoming about some of the challenges in their marriage.
In August 2023, the father of three admitted he and Alba had split four years into their relationship due to his jealousy.
âWhen we first started dating, I was really jealous of other guys and the attention she was getting from other guys. It just wasnât making me feel good,â he said on the âWhine Down with Jana Kramerâ podcast.
âWe broke up. It was jealousy. I was turning into an aâhole, and so we broke up. During that time apart, I made a promise to myself to channel that [jealously] in a different way.â

Alba also once candidly said she and Warren were âgoing through the motionsâ while speaking about parenthood and marriage on Katherine Schwarzeneggerâs Instagram series, âBefore, During & After Baby.â
âItâs all rosy for two and a half years. But then after that, you become roommates,â the Golden Globe nominee said in 2021, according to People.
âYouâre just going through the motions. You have the responsibilities; itâs a lot of, like, checking the boxes, right?â
