Joni Mitchell Adds Second L.A. Show at the Hollywood Bowl
The singer-songwriter joined Brandi Carlile onstage at the same venue back in October

Joni Mitchell added a second show for her grand return to one of the most iconic venues in the U.S.
According to a press release, due to âoverwhelming demand,â fans of the nine-time Grammy winner will get another opportunity to see Mitchell perform live on Oct. 20 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. This will be in addition to her previously-announced concert at the same venue on Oct. 19. Both dates will feature Brandi Carlile and the Joni Jam.
Tickets for the second show will be available for presale on Feb. 1, followed by the general on sale for both dates on Feb. 2.
The legendary musician â who will perform at the Grammys this weekend â announced her L.A. comeback earlier this week.
âThe legendary Joni Mitchell will perform her first Los Angeles headlining show in over 24 years at the @hollywoodbowl on Saturday, October 19 â joined by the Joni Jam,â read a post from the singerâs Instagram account.
Mitchell â Number Nine on Rolling Stoneâs 250 Greatest Guitarists of All Time list â last hit the stage at the Hollywood Bowl as a guest at Brandi Carlileâs concert in October 2023. With the stage arranged with the living room vibes of the famed âJoni Jams,â Mitchell took her seat between Carlile and fellow guest Annie Lennox.
Mitchell, Carlile, and friends first performed âShineâ â Carlileâs favorite Mitchell track â before playing âLadies of the Canyonâ and a concert-ending âCircle Game.â
Mitchell returned to playing live in 2022 following a two-decade-long absence from the stage, first making a surprise appearance at the Newport Folk Festival that year before making her official comeback at the Echoes Through the Canyon festival in June 2023.

The singer-songwriter, who is nominated for Best Folk Album for Joni Mitchell at Newport this year at the Grammys, previously received the Recording Academyâs Lifetime Achievement Award in 2002.
The greatest Canadian artist of all time is a nine-time Grammy winner; she won her first Grammy in 1969 with Best Folk Performance for Clouds. Her most recent Grammy came in 2022 when her Joni Mitchell Archives â Vol. 1: The Early Years (1963â1967) was named Best Historical Album.
