Jonny Walker Wins Off-Road Day 3 at Romaniacs 2025 – The Comeback Continues!
After a tough start to the week, Jonny Walker has bounced back with style, securing victory in the Ultimate Class on Off-Road Day 3 of Red Bull Romaniacs 2025. With a solid 3-minute lead over his rivals, Jonny showed that determination—and a bit of throttle—goes a long way.
“Still struggling to pull it back after the issues on the first day, but we keep moving. I start first tomorrow, with 5 minutes still to make up. Let’s see what we can do.” – Jonny Walker
Behind the Win: Walker’s Vlog Tells the Story
In his post-stage vlog, Jonny takes fans through the marathon stage from a rider’s perspective. With no service point and no outside assistance allowed, Day 3 was all about rider resilience. From pushing hard in the morning stages to a minor crash that stalled his bike, Jonny still managed to finish P1 for the day.
The vlog shows him and fellow rider Sam Sunderland reflecting on the long, solo push across 100+ km of Romanian terrain. Both riders stayed upbeat, joking from their hotel room as they prepared for the final leg of the rally.
“I managed to claw back just over 3 minutes today. That leaves me 5 minutes behind overall. I’m going to have to send it tomorrow. Twist and hope!”
A Marathon Stage, No Room for Error
Without the usual service zone support, riders had to manage tire wear, hydration, and mechanical issues entirely on their own. Jonny’s one small crash could have cost him, but his experience paid off.
“It’s how we recover from the bad days that makes us better.” – JW
Walker now heads into the final off-road stage on Saturday with a real shot at redemption. He starts first, aiming to erase the 5-minute overall deficit caused by mechanical issues on Day 1. With his current momentum, anything is possible.
Stay tuned — the mountains of Romania haven’t had the last word yet.
