Justin Timberlake scrubs Instagram account months after Britney Spears memoir backlash
Justin Timberlake completely wiped his Instagram account following the backlash from ex Britney Spears’ tell-all memoir.
Fans noticed Monday that all the “SexyBack” singer’s posts had disappeared.
The only thing that remained was a profile photo of Timberlake’s eyes looking into a mirror.
Reps for Timberlake did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
While the hitmaker has yet to offer an explanation for the fresh start, sources confirmed to Page Six in September 2023 that he has new music on the way this year.
“Justin is coming out with a new album, so he’s planning a big US tour for 2024,” one insider said at the time.
Notably, Timberlake’s social media purge comes months after he disabled his Instagram comments following Spears’ release of “The Woman in Me” in October.
The former *NYSNC member, 42, was heavily criticized after the “Toxic” songstress, also 42, claimed she had an abortion during their three-year relationship.

A source previously told Page Six that the “Mirrors” crooner took matters into his own hands to block out the “hateful, disgusting things people were saying” on his account.
In her book, Spears said she only went through with the abortion because Timberlake was not on board with having a baby.

“I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated,” she wrote.
“But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young.”

The “Gimme More” singer also recalled the “excruciating” pain of the abortion that she was forced to have at home to prevent the pregnancy from being leaked to the media.
“I kept crying and sobbing until it was all over,” Spears wrote. “It took hours, and I don’t remember how it ended, but I do, twenty years later, remember the pain of it, and the fear.”
She also alleged Timberlake cheated on her with a “very popular” woman while they were together from 1999 to 2002.

Following the memoir’s release, Timberlake kept a low profile and even fled to Mexico for a getaway with his wife, Jessica Biel, and their two sons, Silas, 8, and Phineas, 3.
He returned to the spotlight in December for a performance at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas, where he sang “Cry Me a River,” which is rumored to be about Spears.
Before belting out the 2002 hit, he gave a disclaimer to the audience, saying, “No disrespect,” per a fan video.

Afterward, Spears seemingly threw shade at her ex’s performance.
“Psss I never mentioned how I beat him in basketball 🏀 and he would cry,” she wrote in a lengthy Instagram caption.
While she didn’t directly confirm that her post was about Timberlake, she added “no disrespect 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ !!!” at the end.
Really
