Kash Doll Flexes Freestyle Skills In “Power” Music Video

Kash Doll does not hold back in her latest freestyle. Adding her signature rich bi**h rhymes to MDG‘s viral “Power” track, the Detroit rapper stands confidently, styled in chic boots and gloves by Jennifer Lee, dispelling naysayers in front of a sleek black Lamborghini.

“Diamonds the size of a humpback, 20 carats I’m wetter than Seven Seas. Livin’ rent free in ya head between you and your friends, h*e it ain’t one vacancy,” raps the mother of one on the bossy track.

Initially released in 2022, and sampling the 2010 Kanye West track of the same name, the more recent iteration of “Power” has garnered the rising Mississippi act MDG millions of streams and a placement on TikTok’s Top 10 US Tracks list in March 2023.

Kash’s “Power” freestyle sets a tone for her to hit the ground running with new music in the new year, as signaled by a recent career move on OnlyFans where she releases exclusive content for subscribers.

“OnlyFans is revolutionizing the way artists share… it gives me true freedom of expression,” explained the “Ice Me Out” performer. “I’m constantly inspired by my fan base, and having this platform where I can connect with them on a personal level will be a way of giving back to them.”

Kash Doll most recently released the mixtape Back On Dexter, a Gangsta Grillz project with DJ Drama in February 2024. The project is in homage to her midwestern roots.

“I wanted Back On Dexter to feel like Detroit,” she explained to VIBE.

“So that was my attention for it organically, every song I made just naturally vibed with all the heavy hitters because we all came up together. Like I’ve done three songs with [Icewear] Vezzo. I’ve done songs with Babyface Ray, everybody that’s on there. I can’t just name a few, but everybody’s on there, we already did collabs or always been around each other. So naturally, that happened. So intentionally, I wanted to make a Detroit-sounding project. And naturally, since that’s what I do, it vibed with certain artists.”
