‘Katsute Mahou Shoujo to Aku wa Tekitai shiteita.’ Unveils Additional Staff, Theme Songs, Main Promo
The official website of the Katsute Mahou Shoujo to Aku wa Tekitai shiteita. (The Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies) television anime revealed additional staff members, theme songs, and the main promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere on July 9 at 10:45 p.m. on AT-X, followed by BS11 and Tokyo MX.

Singer-songwriter Lezel (Jitsu wa Ore, Saikyou deshita?) performs the opening theme “Mikansei Rendezvous” which is previewed in the promotional video below. Mai Nakahara and Yuuki Ono are performing the ending theme “Itsumo Futari ga Ii ne” as their characters.
Akiyo Oohashi (Umibe no Ătranger) is directing the anime at Bones, with Yuniko Ayana (Flip Flappers) handling the series composition and script. Haruko Iizuka (Horimiya) is designing the characters, and MAYUKO (Ousama Ranking) is composing the music.
The anime adapts Cocoa Fujiwara’s fantasy romance mangaâalso known as MahoAkuâwhich began in Gangan Joker magazine in September 2013. The manga was left incomplete with 21 chapters after Fujiwara died in March 2015. Square Enix published the third and final volume the following March.
