Kehlani Drops Receipts In Clapback To Javaughn Young-White’s Claims Of An Inappropriate Relationship With Their Daughter

Kehlani is clearing the air on the latest “monstrous allegations” coming from her daughter’s father, Javaughn Young-White. Court documents circulating the internet this week seemingly accuse the singer of having an “inappropriate relationship” with Adeya.

The latest allegations stem from an ongoing custody battle between the parents that went viral in August. After she filed a restraining order against him that month on allegations of abuse, he released text messages claiming she had a pattern of false accusations. The restraining order granted Kehlani sole custody until a hearing they had scheduled for Sept. 3. However, the status of that temporary ruling is unclear at this time.

Recap Of Javaughn Young-White’s Allegations Against Kehlani
Circulating court documents show a text message exchange between Kehlani and Javaughn, who is seeking full custody. It’s unclear if the filing is new or the same paperwork from August. Keep in mind that Javaughn has previously stated that the initial custody filing went forward without his authorization by “error of counsel.” He promised to file amended paperwork. “I do not need to paint an unfair image of my co-parent for me justifiable feelings to be represented by the court of law,” White said at the time.

In one stand-out message this week, the singer claims that a palm reader told her five-year-old Adeya is her “wife” from a past life. There are additional claims about adults sleeping in their daughter’s bed.

Here’s What The Singer Said In Response
Taking to Instagram on Nov. 13, Kehlani clarified that the circulating text exchange with Javaughn was edited. Rather than bash Adeya’s father, though, the singer explained her perspective of their conversation. She admitted to being someone who has “always gotten little readings here and there.” Additionally, the singer said she shared a “lighthearted recap” of a past life reading with her daughter’s father. At the time, she allegedly believed it was a laughing moment that was “not to be taken serious.”

“To have those screenshots then doctored, the rest of the messages left out, to make me seem like I consider myself to be in an inappropriate relationship with my daughter is the most heartbreaking thing I’ve ever f**king heard. I’ve been silent, I’ve taken the public beating. I’ve been addressing all these things where I should, in COURT. I’ve sat there and watched the public only have access to ONE SIDE of things. But THIS is where I absolutely draw the line. I do NOT, and have NEVER considered myself in any sort of with my child.”

For context, the message timestamps seemingly indicate that the conversation happened in October 2021. Kehlani’s upload of the conversation shows her admitting that she didn’t believe the past-life wife about Adeya. “All these people prolly be lying lmao,” she wrote in one text. Meanwhile, Javaughn has yet to respond to Kehlani’s clarification message. However, she slid into TSR’s comment section to assure her supporters that she was handling the allegations in court.

“THE REST WILL BE HANDLED IN COURT AS ITS BEING HANDLED NOW THANK U,” she wrote.
