Kellen Moore will interview for Jaguars’ head coaching job

Make that two head coaching interview requests for Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore.

On Monday, it was reported that the New Orleans Saints have requested an interview with Moore.

On Tuesday, the Jacksonville Jaguars’ official Twitter account listed Moore’s name at the very top of a list of interview requests.

Moore drawing head coaching interest is hardly a surprise since he’s interviewed for head coaching openings in previous offseasons, including with the Eagles before they hired Nick Sirianni in 2021. Moore’s stock has been boosted by the Birds’ success in 2024.

The guess here is that Eagles would prefer to retain Moore and not have to have another new offensive coordinator in 2025. But keeping him isn’t up to them if another team offers Moore a head coaching job and he accepts it.

We know Moore will be a candidate for at least two openings. It’s possible he’ll interview elsewhere as well. The status of these jobs will be worth monitoring as it relates to Moore and if he’ll be back with the Eagles next season.
