Best of luck defeating Kevin Durant in NBA 2K25 if he gets to play with his ideal starting lineup.
In a video for Boardroom, Durant revealed he would surround himself with Luka Dončić, LeBron James, Joel Embiid and Klay Thompson when making a starting lineup to use in the video game.

He placed an emphasis on shooting with the Thompson and even Embiid selections and said he picked the Philadelphia 76ers star at center “because Embiid shoots the three better than [Nikola] Jokić in the game.”
Durant is quite familiar with playing alongside some of those playmakers, as he was teammates with Thompson on the Golden State Warriors and helped Team USA bring home the gold medal in the 2024 Paris Olympics with James and Embiid.
Having that many stars on the court makes perimeter shooting all the more important because defenses collapse and send double teams at times, and Durant’s starting five isn’t going to miss a lot of open looks.
That is especially the case in a video game.
