Kevin Harvick sure knows a thing or two about the on-track rivalries, and his opinion was put to light in a recent FOX broadcast show. His first big assignment was the heated confrontation between Penskeā€™s No. 22 and JGRā€™s No. 54. To which the former SHR race car driver provided his two cents on the hot topic during the show ā€˜Race Hubā€™ on FOX.

Harvick said, ā€œI donā€™t think itā€™s over. This started in Martinsville, and when you look back at the beginning of the race, the 22 got up into the 54, and the 22 beat the 54 in a couple of the restarts. And then you look at the end, the 54 put the 22 off the racetrack, and I donā€™t think either one of these guys are going to give in.ā€

ā€œAs you see in this restart, itā€™s what really won Denny Hamlin the race. It opened up the inside lane, but the thing that I take away from this is that Ty Gibbs is learning, and Joeyā€™s going to have to deal with him. As he (Gibbs) is going to be in front a lot this seasonā€. Despite the desperate move to topple Logano, Gibbs could only finish P18, whereas Logano missed out on a podium finish with a P4.

Logano understands competitive racing but is not a fan of an aggressive approachThe 2-time Cup Series champ has seen it all racing at the top level of sport for more than a decade now. At 33, he certainly has matured to be a more calm and composed driver, but he is now up against Ty Gibbs, who is out to make his mark on the Cup Series. Logano went on to explain that events like Clash can plant seeds for more such events in the future, and he understands that this is part of racing.

ā€œThe racing is usually an eye for an eye more times than not. Mistakes are mistakes. Here obviously lends for a lot of things, and Iā€™ve been on both ends of it. I got Kyle last year, so itā€™s a part of racing here, and you try not to because you know there are bigger races down the line. But sometimes you are in a bad spot and you just make a mistake. That can happen too, Or itā€™s just flat-out aggressive to do that type of stuff. I donā€™t know.ā€ Logano said in a post-race press briefing.
