Khamzat Chimaev roasts ‘fake’ Belal Muhammad following UFC 315 title loss

Belal Muhammad’s performance at UFC 315 led to many questions from the fans and he has now been roasted by his longtime rival.

On Saturday at UFC 315, Belal Muhammad‘s short welterweight title reign came to an end at the hands of Jack Della Maddalena, after a five round war saw the Australian crowned the new champion.

Following the fight, UFC boss Dana White detailed the horrendous injuries Muhammad suffered, revealing that he broke his nose, his orbital, and also sliced his lip from top to bottom.

Heading into their fight, ‘Remember The Name’ claimed that he was going to showcase his striking skills and wouldn’t wrestle the Australian boxer, and he stuck to his word but that ultimately led to his downfall.

And with that, Della Maddalena stated that Muhammad does not have ‘Canelo hands’ after the Chicagoan compared his boxing to one of the pound-for-pound best.

A day removed from his disappointing loss, Muhammad has now been roasted by longtime rival, Khamzat Chimaev, who commented on the 36-year-old’s loss.

“He’s crying again!” Chimaev stated in a now-deleted post on social media.

Despite the fact that Chimaev is now in the middleweight division, and seemingly a few months off fighting for the title, Muhammad previously claimed that he’d ‘smack up’ the winner of that fight.

One fan attempted to calm Chimaev down by reminding him that they are both Muslim fighters and that they should be supporting each other.

“Yes, he called me a Muslim brother then he went and said he wants to beat me, so should I be nice to you? I like real people, not fake, if you call me your brother you should be my brother. I always support Palestine but I never support fake people,” Chimaev replied.

What’s next for Belal Muhammad following title loss?Despite the ongoing feud with Chimaev, ‘Borz’ is now in the middleweight division and will be fighting Dricus Du Plessis very soon, meaning a fight between Chimaev and Muhammad won’t happen any time soon.

‘Remember The Name’ does have an ongoing feud with Kamaru Usman, though, claiming that when he went on Usman’s podcast, he made the former champion cry.

Although Usman is scheduled to fight Joaquin Buckley at UFC Atlanta, no matter what the result is, Muhammad vs Usman should be a fight that is explored before the end of the year.
