Khloé Kardashian accused of FaceTuning her cat as fans go wild over feline’s changed features: ‘Even the pets aren’t safe’

Khloé Kardashian is being accused of FaceTuning her Russian Blue cat, Grey Kitty, after the furry feline appeared more doll-like than life-like in her recent Valentine’s Day Instagram upload.

The “Kardashians” star, who is known for her Photoshop fails, came under fire Wednesday for seemingly editing a photo of her cat wearing a pink collar to commemorate the holiday.

Fans noticed that the pet’s features appeared slightly enhanced, with her eyes looking impossibly green and her mouth curved upwards in a near-perfect smile.

“Khloe kardashian literally face tuned her cat 😂😂😂,” one person tweeted alongside the now-viral photo of Grey Kitty.

“This is an actual illness at this point 😭 her sense of reality is facetuned,” another added on Reddit.

“Even the pets aren’t safe,” someone else joked, to which another added, “First the kids now the cat.”

“These damn beauty standards are getting out of hand,” a fourth joked, while someone else said it looked like the feline’s whiskers had been “blurred.”

However, others defended Kardashian, 39, by pointing out that Russian Blue cats are known for their insanely bright eyes.

“I wouldn’t be surprised, but this looks like a Russian Blue. Russian Blues are naturally beautiful and of course, very expensive,” one fan chimed in. “They are a no filter needed type of kitty 🙂.”

“Y’all. It’s just not a domestic shorthair,” a second person said. “Chartreuse and Russian blues have that kind of coat. It’s pretty normal for Russian Blues to have that color eyes, and Chartreux are known for that smiling mouth shape.”

The Good American co-founder bought Grey Kitty for her daughter, True, in December 2021 — right after she split from the 5-year-old’s father, Tristan Thompson, due to his paternity scandal.

Since then, Grey Kitty has become a beloved member of the Kardashian family, with True choosing a cat-themed 4th birthday party in honor of her furry friend and the mother-daughter duo dressing up as the pet for Halloween that same year.

While this is the first time that Kardashian has been accused of editing the pet, the mother of two is no stranger to photo editing controversy.

Most recently, fans noticed that Kardashian’s arm appeared impossibly warped — with a massive dip above her elbow — in her birthday tribute to mom Kris Jenner.

Before that, Kardashian came under fire for “blackfishing” while dressed as a Bratz doll on Halloween 2023.

One of the most obvious instances came in October 2022, when the reality TV star posted — and then quickly deleted — a photo of herself posing on a chair in a black jumpsuit.

While at first glance nothing seemed off about the sultry snap, fans were quick to point out that the wall right behind Kardashian — near her waist and famous backside — was warped and curved inward.
