He spoke from inside an unknown building, possibly the courthouse. The rapper began by thanking his supporters for the love, especially today. “It really means a lot to me…you guys are the best,” he said, adding a few more comments.

“This is a stressful situation. I’m glad it’s behind me and yeah, I love y’all man. Big love,” Kid Cudi said before signing off.

How Is Cudi Connected To Diddy & Cassie?During week one of the trial, Cassie testified that Sean Combs arranged for her to meet Kid Cudi in 2011 to work on music. The two began dating soon after, and she said she got a burner phone to communicate with Cudi in secret. Cassie said she and Combs had broken up at the time, although they still engaged in “freak offs” that Combs arranged. During one of those sex parties, Cassie testified that Diddy looked at her phone and learned of the Cudi relationship. In response, she said he lunged at her with a corkscrew and kicked her in the back.

On Tuesday, Cassie’s mother, Regina Ventura, testified that Cassie told her Combs was angry about her relationship with Kid Cudi. The producer planned to release sexually explicit videos of her and send someone to hurt Cassie and Cudi. Regina testified that she wired Combs $20,000 to stop the threat, which he returned a few days later.

What Did The Rapper Testify In Sean Combs’ Trial?Kid Cudi was the second person to testify in Diddy’s trial on Thursday, May 22, after continued testimony from the producer’s former assistant, George Kaplan. Cudi pulled up to the courtroom looking casual in blue jeans, a white T-shirt, and a black leather jacket with a lit cigarette hanging from his lips.

On the witness stand, he confirmed that he began dating Cassie in 2011, assuming that she and Diddy’s relationship had ended. In December of that year, Cudi said Cassie called him to pick her up after Combs had allegedly reacted violently to learning about their romance. While at a hotel with the singer, Cudi said one of Diddy’s assistants at the time called him, claiming Diddy was in his home. Cudi raced him, hitting Diddy via phone, who allegedly confirmed the assistant’s account. When Cudi pulled up to his house, Sean Combs was not there. However, a security camera had been moved, Christmas presents opened, and his dog was locked in the bathroom.
