Kim Kardashian Shares Glimpse at North Westâs Electric Blue Hair Transformation
North West is in her electric feels.
After all, the 11-year-oldâthe oldest of Kim Kardashian and ex-husband Kanye Westâs four childrenâtraded her signature dark brown hair for a bright teal blue.
In a June 6 photo posted on Kimâs Instagram Stories, the âChildlike Thingsâ rapper showed a small glimpse of her new look. Sporting two different shades of blue, North added a few waves to her hair to make the color pop. And while the majority of her strands are cool blue, thereâs certainly a hint of turquoise in the crown of her hair.
That blue-green hue, which is reminiscent of her aunt Kylie Jennerâs âKing Kylieâ era, was on display as she left dinner with Kim, 44, in Malibu that same day. Meanwhile, the SKIMS founder slicked her dark brown hair into a sleek bun.Â
This isnât the first time Northâwhose siblings are Saint West, 9, Chicago West, 7, and Psalm West, 6âhas flaunted her blue hair transformation, as she debuted the look ahead of the 2025 Met Gala in May. While she didnât attend the fashion exhibit with Kim, she shared her modern take on the âSuperfine: Tailoring Black Styleâ theme on her momâs Instagram.
Dressed in a cow print set and Rick Owen sneakers, North styled her blue hair into long knotless braids.Â

And when she isnât curating her own style, sheâs giving her mom a few fashion tips.
âSheâs a big critiquer,â Kim told Vogue of her daughter at the May 5 event. âBut itâs pretty good, you know, her critiquing.â
Indeed, North wants her mom to feel comfortable in her couture of choice.
âI think sheâs also in a really positive place, like, vibe right now where itâs just like, âHey, even if thatâs not my style, Iâm not going to critique that,â Kim explained. âJust be you and if you like that, then thatâs what you should be into.â I love that energy and she was such a positive force tonight.â
