Kim Kardashian Was All Thumbs in Latest Alleged Photoshop ‘Mishap’

I don’t think Kim Kardashian will ever stop editing the photos she posts to social media within an inch of their lives, which means we will never stop getting bizarre photo editing mishaps. And the gallery of Christmas photos the Skims founder posted to Instagram on December 27 includes another alleged doozy.

Kardashian’s social media followers were quick to notice that in the fourth photo of her carousel—which featured pics of herself and her four children posing in front of a group of white Christmas trees—Kim K appears to have grown an extra thumb on her right hand. Oops.

“Why do you have two thumbs in pic 4?” one fan asked in the comment section, per Page Six. Another wrote, “It screams AI mishap,” while other fans noted that Kim is “notorious for editing.”

The photo in question shows Kardashian and her oldest daughter North West in three-quarter profile, smiling at the camera and clasping hands. Both are dressed in their festive finest, Kardashian in a fur-trimmed strapless dress and her daughter in a heavily bedazzled oversized white jacket. You can see the photo here.

So, from whence came the mysterious extra digit? To my eyes, it looks as if Kardashian may have edited out her left arm, but forgot to erase the hand along with it. “Her fists are together,” one user suggested.

But hey, it’s Christmas. Kim Kardashian can have a little extra thumb if she wants one. As a little treat.
