‘Kisaki Kyouiku kara Nigetai Watashi’ Unveils Main Cast, Staff, 2025 Premiere

An official website opened for the television anime adaptation of Izumi Sawano and Uri Sugata’s Kisaki Kyouiku kara Nigetai Watashi (I Want to Escape from Princess Lessons) manga on Wednesday. The website also revealed the main cast, staff, and two teaser visuals (pictured). The anime is scheduled to premiere in 2025.

Haruka Shiraishi (Golden Kamuy) and Jun Fukuyama (Ookami to Koushinryou) are starring as Leticia and Clark, respectively.

Sawano and Sugata began serializing the romance fantasy manga in Comic PASH! magazine in March 2020. Shufu to Seikatsusha published the fifth volume on November 2.

Kisaki Kyouiku kara Nigetai Watashi is based on Sawano’s novel series, which originally began on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in August 2018. Shufu to Seikatsusha acquired the novel and published the first volume under its PASH! Books imprint in April 2019, featuring illustrations by Miru Yumesaki. The second and final volume was released in March 2020.

J-Novel Club licensed both the manga and light novel for digital release in English. The first light novel volume went on sale on September 20, while the second and final volume is scheduled to be released on November 22. The first manga volume was released in November 2023.
