Lashley and The Street Profits began trending toward an alliance over the summer, and it became official after Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins took the former WWE champion’s advice by becoming more aggressive and caring less about the adulation of the fans.
However, the WWE Universe continued to support Lashley and The Street Profits, which gave them something of an identity crisis.
That made them an easy target for The Final Testament, which was officially formed in January when Karrion Kross and Scarlett were joined by The Authors of Pain and their manager, WWE Hall of Famer Paul Ellering.
The Final Testament made Lashley and The Street Profits their first target, and the two factions have been feuding ever since.
B-Fab joined forces with Lashley and The Street Profits in an effort to neutralize Scarlett and help even the odds, but that did little to cool down the heated rivalry they have been embroiled in.
Lashley and Kross took each other out of the 2024 men’s Royal Rumble match, while The Street Profits and AOP cost each other golden opportunities as well.
Ford and Dawkins beat Akam and Rezar in a tag team match to advance closer to a spot in the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship ladder match at WrestleMania, but during the qualification match between the Profits and the team of Austin Theory and Grayson Waller, Ford and Dawkins were distracted.
The Final Testament attacked Lashley backstage, and Theory and Waller took advantage of the diversion to beat The Street Profits and earn entry into the ladder match.
That left Lashley’s group and The Final Testament without representation on the WrestleMania card, but that was quickly solved by putting them in a Philadelphia Street Fight against each other.
Lashley and The Street Profits prevailed in a highly physical affair, perhaps paving the way for both stables to go their separate ways.
