KartaMetaverse developer Karta has hired former Tommy Hilfiger senior menswear designer Morgan Evans as fashion and beauty director, with Emperia senior creative designer Sarah Richards joining as art director.

Additionally, Karta has brought on Tork Shaw (previously with Epic Games) as game design director, Oscar Halland (formerly a Supersocial engineering manager) as lead programmer for Roblox, and Jonny Coelho (most recently with Beyond Creative) as lead producer.

UMGUniversal Music has elevated over nine-year team member Todd Goodwin to SVP of culture marketing and creative strategy for °1824.

WMGSarah Ismail is now MD of Warner Music’s ADA Asia, a role she’ll hold while continuing as MD of Warner Music Philippines “on an interim term.”

BMGBMG has boosted publishing A&R exec Marc Johlen, who came aboard in 2020, to MD of operations in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.

iHeartMediaMultiple iHeartMedia stations have announced promotions, with 31-year iHeartMedia Philadelphia vet Marie Tolson-Overton becoming sales manager for WDAS FM (Philly’s Best R&B & Throwbacks) and Power 99 (Philadelphia’s Hip Hop and R&B).
