Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird has not given sister Jessica ‘Chubbs’ Shannon her blessing to use husband as a sperm donor

Jessica “Chubbs” Shannon is considering using her brother-in-law, Josh Efird, as a sperm donor, according to a recent interview with ET, but Lauryn “Pumpkin” Efird has “not really” given her sister her blessing, Page Six can reveal.

In an exclusive interview with “Virtual Reali-Tea” co-hosts Danny Murphy and Evan Real on Wednesday, Efird explained her hesitation with letting Josh — with whom she shares four children — donate his sperm to Shannon and her girlfriend, Shyann McCant.

“I mean, it’s a big conversation, 100 percent, because, like, it is my sister, but when you really get into the big bulk of it, there’s so many strings attached to it,” Lauryn, 24, said in a chat alongside Shannon, sister Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson and mom “Mama June” Shannon.

Jessica, 27, made sure to clarify, “Definitely, right now, Shyann is not pregnant,” before urging fans to tune in to the continuation of “Mama June: Family Crisis” Season 6.

“Y’all are just gonna have to wait and see how that plays out,” she teased.

“I’m like, ‘Girl, just come over and get one of my kids for the day. I promise you’ll be fine. I have a farm-full!’” she quipped.

Later in the conversation, Thompson addressed her boyfriend Dralin Carswell’s March 2023 arrest for driving under the influence, fleeing police and speeding following a three-mile car chase in Georgia.

Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson also addressed her boyfriend Dralin Carswell’s arrest for DUI, fleeing police and speeding following a car chase. MEGA

“We’re doing pretty good right now,” Thompson, 18, told us. “I mean, there is a lot going on with his court stuff, obviously, and it’s obviously not something we can hide because it’s literally on TV.”

Thompson made sure to note that she “didn’t wanna hide it anyways.”

“It was just something that happened that was not meant to happen,” she shared. “People make mistakes. It’s not like he went out and murdered somebody.”

The former “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” star also explained why she’s “still with him,” saying, “This happened while we were together. This didn’t happen, like, before we got together, so it’s not like something that’s like, ‘Oh, this happened — maybe I shouldn’t get with him.’ It’s like, ‘This happened — I need to sit here and help him get through it and figure out what he should do to get this off of his record.’”

Lauryn quickly pointed out that Carswell has “learned” from the “stupid” ordeal.
