Developer hidea is adding what might just be another hit in the making to its roster with League of Puzzle, a real-time PVP puzzler from the minds behind the adorable Cats & Soup. You’ll need to clear the board and rack up some points using different character abilities at your disposal, making for plenty of frenetic fun against other players across the globe.
What actually caught my eye in League of Puzzle are the cool skills and flashy abilities, so if, like me, you’re easily attracted to shiny visuals, this might just be your cup of tea. It also seems like there’s plenty of strategic depth to tinker around with here, but the catch is that you’ll have to think on your feet to take down your foes in record time.
Additionally, there’s a good variety of weapon cards to collect and runes to equip to buff up your chances of winning. You can also dive into single-player battles or duke it out with others across ranked matches – you can even team up with your online besties in the co-op modes, because two heads are better than one, right?
While waiting for the official launch, why not take a look at our list of the best multiplayer games on Android to get your fill?
In the meantime, if you’re eager to join in on all the fun, you can do so by pre-registering for League of Puzzle on the App Store and on Google Play. It’s free-to-play with in-app purchases, with an expected launch date of December 31st according to the App Store.Â
Do take that with a grain of salt, though, as these things often change without prior notice. You can also take a little peek at the embedded clip above to get a feel of the vibes and visuals.
