Liam Delap or Victor Osimhen: Man United make final decision on Super Eagles star
English Premier League side, Manchester United have reportedly made a final call regarding Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, Soccernet.ng reports.
Per Sportsmole, fresh reports suggest the Nigerian international is not a transfer target for the three-time UEFA Champions League winner this summer.
Despite persistent rumours linking the Super Eagles forward to a Premier League switch, particularly to Old Trafford, trusted journalist David Ornstein has clarified Unitedâs stance on the striker.

âIf Manchester United are to look at others, Iâm assured it will not be Victor Osimhen,â Ornstein said. âDespite reports you might be reading, he is not on the agenda for United.â
The revelation comes as a surprise to the Nigerian football community, especially given Osimhenâs impressive record in Italy and in Turkey.

However, Manchester United appears to be looking in a different direction. Ornstein added that Delap, who has impressed at Ipswich this season, is seen as a more viable option, with Chelsea also showing interest in the England youth international.

âThey will have other options because they might have to turn to them, or they could stick with internal solutions, such as a Rasmus HĂžjlund, and focus on other positions,â Ornstein concluded.
For Osimhen, a Premier League move may still be on the cards, but Manchester United have officially ruled themselves out of the race â for now.
