Light Novel ‘Isekai no Sata wa Shachiku Shidai’ Gets Anime
Publishing company Enterbrain announced an anime adaptation of Wakatsu Yatsuki’s Isekai no Sata wa Shachiku Shidai (The Other World’s Books Depend on the Bean Counter) light novel on Friday.
Yatsuki began writing the boys love fantasy story on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in March 2018. Enterbrain began publishing the series with illustrations by Kikka Ohashi in February 2019. The third volume was released in September 2021. The series has a cumulative 1.4 million copies in circulation.
A manga adaptation by Kazuki Irodori began serialization in March 2020 on the B’s Log Comic site. The sixth volume was released on Friday.
Yen Press licensed both versions in English. The light novel’s second volume was released on June 18, and the third volume is scheduled to go on sale on March 18. The manga’s fifth volume will ship on December 10.
Synopsis
One day, twenty-nine-year-old accountant Seiichirou Kondou is accidentally transported to another world.
