The sixth event of the 2025 LIV Golf season gets underway at the Club de Golf Chapultepec in Mexico City, Mexico on Friday, April 25. This will be the first-ever LIV Golf event held in Mexico City.
Ripper GC brought an end to Fireballs GC’s winning streak by claiming the title at Liv Golf Miami earlier this month. They claimed the individual title as well, with Marc Leishman overcoming the likes of Charl Schwartzel and Sergio Garcia.
Torque GC’s skipper Joaquin Niemann continues to lead the overall individual standings and is a favorite to come out on top at Liv Golf Mexico City.
The tournament will begin with a shotgun start – meaning all groups will tee off at the same time at their respective starting holes. There will also be no cuts to the field.
This is the fourth season for the Saudi-backed golf league after it began in 2022 with eight tournaments across the world. LIV expanded to 14 tournaments in 2023 and will once again hold 14 tournaments this year.Â
