Speaking to Womenâs World Champion Liv Morgan on his Impaulsive podcast, the 29-year-old shared the story of the first time he touched a wrestling ring, and found it to feel a little firmer than expected.
He explained: âSomething Iâve noticed about wrestling is that it really hurts me. Itâs just so hard, Liv. Itâs the hardest thing Iâve ever done. [People] have no idea.
âLet me tell you something; the first thing I did, as is everyone when they get around a WWE ring, I went up and went: âletâs see how bouncy this mat is.â
âI touch it and it didnât move at all. I was like, to the Miz: âWait, yâall are really.. this is what weâre falling on? Whereâs the bouncy mat?â
âHeâs like: âNah, man, this is it.â
âI guess I didnât expect it to be that hard, literally and in general. How are you not, and all the women in general, not in more pain? Itâs hard for me and Iâm a tough guy!â

Liv Morgan was the latest high-profile guest on Logan Paul’s podcastCredit: YouTube/ImpaulsiveMorgan observed that Loganâs status as a part-time performer who doesnât necessarily wrestle on a regular basis each week may be the cause of his greater discomfort.
âOctober 27th is my ten years in WWE,â she added. Maybe itâs just the callous of my body just consistently being put through it?
âAlso, I think it hurts more when youâre not full time. When you dibble dabble and, as tense as you go, youâre going to feel it more than me who is doing it three nights a week.â

Paul nodded vigorously in agreement, saying: âThat is true, that is totally true. Iâve noticed that â when Iâm more regular, it actually hurts less.â
The two then traded injury stories from across their careers before Paul firmly fired backâ Injuries have f***** me up, so I pray that you stay healthy.
âIâve not been doing this for nearly as long as you and, like I said, it hurts.â
