LoL Patch 14.3 – Smolder and more changes
After two patches of updates, we’re starting to see the effects of the new season changes come to fruition. There are still a few outliers but Riot has been looking to quickly fix some of the overpowered combinations in the game.
Despite a load of tweaks to the game, there hasn’t been anything too game-breaking, which works in players’ favor. Especially now that the latest champion, Smolder, will be coming to the game. The newest LoL character will hit the live servers on January 31, so he will take the spotlight for a while.
Based on the PBE datamine, there are already a couple of changes in the work for the upcoming Patch 14.3. Below you can find the exact numbers and adjustments.
Patch 14.3 Release Date
According to the official patch schedule, Patch 14.3 will be released on Wednesday, Feb. 7. This will be the third patch out of the 24 updates planned for the year.
How will the upcoming patch impact the meta?
The support item changes in Patch 14.2 will likely kill off the double support item combinations that we have seen at the highest Elos. We’ll have to see whether some duos are still viable. Aside from that, however, it’s still too early to judge how the meta will shift given the small amount of changes.
