Love Is Blind Star Hannah Jiles Addresses Those ‘Ozempic’ Comments: ‘I Would Take It If I Could’

Hannah Jiles is clearing up some of those post-Love Is Blind rumors.

Hannah cheekily addressed her off-screen transformation a week after Netflix began airing season seven of the reality dating series, which filmed about a year ago. “Take a look around. Do you see her anywhere?” she lip-synced next to her season 7 headshot. “News flash, you’re not gonna.” She captioned the post, “Same girl, just a healthier mindset.”

This post sparked a wave of questions and speculations about her weight loss, with many fans suspecting Hannah was on some form of GLP-1 medication, namely Ozempic. While the reality star isn’t denouncing weight loss drugs, she says she was unable to take the injections without getting sick.

“Everyone’s saying I am on Ozempic. I did try Ozempic. Back in the spring, I tried it for two weeks, I think. And unfortunately, I think it’s an amazing thing, but it made me so sick I couldn’t take it,” Jiles told People in an interview that was published on October 17. “Trust me, I would take it if I could. But it was just all me.”

Though Ozempic didn’t work for Jiles, she says she found success by “trying to move more” and reevaluating her relationship with food. “I still don’t really like working out, but I just try to move as much as possible,” she added. “And if I can do Pilates or yoga, that’s the best I can do because I’m not going running. It’s just not me.”

Hannah Jiles says the weight-related insecurities she discussed in the pods led her to changing her lifestyle. “If weight is something that I’m super insecure about, then I need to change that. And so I just work towards it,” she says. “It’s wild that everyone just thinks I’m just a liar and stuff. I just really tried hard.”

Of course, that doesn’t mean she didn’t embrace another kind of injection. “Since [the show], I’ve gotten Botox, I’ve gotten lip injections, got hair extensions, I’ve done things like that,” she told People. “But I haven’t changed who I am or have done anything. I had a goal and I was going to get there.”
