Lucky Lottery Player Scores AU$4.8M Jackpot from Set for Life

A South Australia lottery player has won the prize of his life but may not know about it.

Single Division One Entry Hits Set for Life Jackpot

That is the case of a mystery Gawler resident who recently scored the single division one entry from The Lott’s Set for Life game. The fortunate player, holding the single division one entry for the country from the Set for Life’s draw on Monday, November 18, 2024, won a staggering AU$4.8 million ($3.1 million) prize.

Not much is known about the fortunate winner, while The Lott is encouraging lottery players to check their tickets for the win. The winning entry for Set for Life’s 3392 drawing was purchased at Northern News, Shop 24 at Gawler Central Shopping Centre on 1 Cowan Street in Gawler.

Monday’s Set for Life drawing saw winning numbers 29, 13, 16, 31, 30, 7 and 20 drawn, with supplementary numbers 38 and 22. The fortunate winner’s division one entry marks the 143rd Set for Life division one winning entry across the country ever since the launch of the game. On the other hand, the fortunate winner is the 18th person to become a millionaire with a Set for Life division one entry in 2024.

The total prize of AU$4.8 million ($3.1) is payable through monthly installments. This otherwise means that the fortunate winner will benefit from AU$20,000 ($13,000) per month for the next 20 years.

The Hefty Win Comes Just Ahead of the Holiday Season

Khat McIntyre, a spokesperson for The Lott revealed that it is exciting to see a division one winning entry just ahead of the upcoming holiday season. “With Christmas just around the corner, there’s no better time to discover you’ve won AU$20,000 a month for the next 20 years,” she revealed.

McIntyre encouraged lottery players who purchased a Set for Life ticket from Northern News in Gawler to check their tickets. She added that if a player registers their ticket with an online account or player card, they will be contacted directly by The Lott with the good news.

McIntyre said that if a person is holding the winning ticket, they should contact the lottery and start the process required for claiming the prize. “We’d love to help make your Christmas dreams come true,” the spokesperson said in conclusion.
