Luke Littler appears to shout ‘f*** off’ as frustrations boil over in defeat to Gerwyn Price

Luke Littler’s frustrations got the better of him as he appeared to shout ‘f*** off’ after missing the chance to beat Gerwyn Price in the Darts Premier League.

‘The Nuke’ was competing on night three of the event in Glasgow when he took on the Welsh star in a quarter-final clash that went the distance in a thrilling 11-leg encounter.

After a pulsating start to the game in which both players were firing on all cylinders, the match got bogged down with both stars missing crucial trebles to slow the flow of the match.

But as the match went into the final legs, things certainly came to life.

Price, who withdrew from the Players Championship this week due to the ‘less-than amateur conditions’, had a match dart at 5-4, but failed to strike as Littler took the contest to a deciding leg.

Both men started well in the final leg, with Littler three darts from victory on 96. However, the 17-year-old threw a 20, a 0 and another 20 to put him on 56 and leave Price just one dart from victory.

Clearly seeing how big a miss it was, Littler appeared to kick the floor and shout ‘f*** off’ to himself as he retrieved his darts.

Holding his nerve, Price recorded the double-12 needed to pinch the victory and secure his spot in the Premier League night three semi-finals.

While congratulating Price on his victory, Littler was clearly frustrated as he muttered to himself and shook his head as he made his way off stage.

The teenager has showed a remarkable ability to keep his composure in high-pressure situations since breaking onto the scene at the PDC World Darts Championship in December.

However, after performing incredibly well, it’s only natural that Littler let his frustrations boil over in Glasgow.
