‘Magnificent’ Kopecky wins European time trial title by ‘big margin’

Belgium’s Lotte Kopecky won the European Championships time trial title as she powered to victory by a 44-margin ahead of Ellen van Dijk (Netherlands). Austria’s Christina Schweinberger was third in the 31.2km race against the clock.
