Man United vs. Tottenham final score: Superb Spurs batter 10-man Red Devils as pressure mounts on Erik ten Hag

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag faces more questions on his future after his side were brushed aside as Tottenham stormed to a 3-0 Premier League win at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils were second best throughout as Ange Postecoglu’s visitors showed ruthlessness and attacking verve in Manchester to secure just their third EPL win of the campaign.

Spurs’ speed off the mark was the running theme in Manchester as Brennan Johnson slid Spurs in front after just three minutes.

Bruno Fernandes’ controversial red card just before half-time caused anger amongst the home fans but the overall home performance did not deserve anything more than a resounding defeat.

Tottenham were quick out of the traps again for the second half as Johnson teed up Dejan Kulusevski to volley home his first league goal of the season.

As the rain pelted down, United did show some fight late on, before Dominic Solanke poked home the clincher, to send the travelling Spurs support wild.

Ten Hag will be feeling the heat again in the coming days, but United have another quick turnaround, as they head to Porto in midweek UEFA Europa League action.
