Manga ‘Himekishi wa Barbaroi no Yome’ Gets TV Anime in 2025
Production company Kadokawa opened an official website for a television anime adaptation of Noriaki Kotoba’s Himekishi wa Barbaroi no Yome (The Barbarian’s Bride) manga on Friday, revealing a teaser visual (pictured) and teaser promo. The anime series is planned for a 2025 airing.
Kotoba originally began posting the comedy fantasy manga on his Pixiv account in January 2019. Bessatsu Shounen Magazine began serializing the manga in January 2021. Kodansha published the seventh volume on February 8, with the eighth volume scheduled for an October 8 release.
Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English this May and released the first volume on October 15. The second volume is set to be released on January 14, 2025. Kodansha K Manga service also simulpublishes the manga in English.
Synopsis
