March Madness highlights: N.C. State men and women reach Final Four; Purdue, South Carolina advance

March Madness continued Sunday with four Elite Eight games in the NCAA men’s and women’s basketball tournaments. It was a big day for the North Carolina State Wolfpack: The No. 11 men upset fourth-seeded Duke, continuing a storybook run and reaching the national semifinals for the first time since 1983, while the women took down Texas to secure their place in Cleveland, in a game affected by an odd problem with the court. Zach Edey and the Purdue men reached the Boilermakers’ first Final Four in 44 years. The undefeated South Carolina women will return to the Final Four after their win over Oregon State.
