Masters of the Air Release Schedule
Masters of the Air is preparing for takeoff. The much-anticipated series will premiere on Apple TV+ this Friday, January 26âand judging by the team behind the project, we’re in for a hell of a ride.
Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg, and Gary Goetzman created the upcoming drama, which is based on Donald L. Millerâs book of the same name. Set during World War II, Masters of the Air follows a group of young fighter pilots who target the Nazi regime. Per the show’s logline, the airmen ârisk their lives with the 100th Bomb Group, a brotherhood forged by courage, loss, and triumph.â
Masters of the Air features a star-studded cast, including Austin Butler, Barry Keoghan, Sawyer Spielberg (yes, Stevenâs son), Callum Turner, Ncuti Gatwa, and Lauren McQueen. The triumphant story will shed light on a group of men whose story is often forgotten by our history books. In a press release, Goetzman explained that this project is a long time coming. “Masters of the Air is a salute to the brave men of the 8th Air Force, who, through their courage and brotherhood, helped defeat Nazi Germany in World War II,” he said. “Tom and Steven have always wanted to visualize cinematically what our author Don Miller has called this âsingular event in the history of warfare.â”

Where Is Masters of the Air Streaming? Masters of the Air is available exclusively on Apple TV+. The series premieres this Friday, which means you have exactly three days to snag a subscription (… or a friend’s password). If youâre not already subscribed to the streaming service, Apple TV+ offers a week-long free trial. After that, you have to pay a $9.99 monthly fee.
