Welcome to your monthly Tarotscopes, celestial babe! The entire year of 2024 is full of powerful transits, and these notable shifts continue for us during an opportunistic and transformative May. Below, we have horoscopes for each of the 12 zodiac signs with a unique Tarot card pulled to predict the month ahead for every member of the zodiac. Be sure to read for both your sun and rising sign for the most accurate reading.
May is bringing us a significant opportunity to realign with the kind of life we desire, but it’ll require you to set firm boundaries on your time, money, and energy toward anything you’re misaligned with. We enter this month still in the midst of Taurus season, which encourages us to commit to a life that we desire and be candid about what we like as well as what (or who) we don’t.
We start May with a Pluto Retrograde period in the eccentric sign of Aquarius. This transit will be with us until Pluto, the outermost planet, stations direct on October 11. This will ask us to face our shadows, secrets, and taboos with bravery. Because Pluto is an outer planet, we’ll likely see this on a societal level rather than personal struggles—so expect the unexpected and try to take others off of a pedestal during this time. On May 7, we are greeted with a new moon in earthly Taurus. However, because we will still be in the midst of a mercury retrograde shadow period, I still encourage you to hold off on manifestation and rituals for this new moon. Instead, walk your talk and bring your dreams to life through action.
On May 15 we have Mercury (our planet of travel, communication, and technology) entering into Taurus, giving us a chance to truly lean into Taurean energy and away from neutrality. Speak with your heart, talk about the beliefs that you would “die on a hill” for, and don’t back down during pivotal moments that need you to choose a side. On the 19th, we have a very special Mars-North Node conjunction in fiery Aries. Not only is the North Node representative of your destiny, but action-planet Mars screams, “It’s time to go after what you desire!” and won’t take “no” for an answer. This is a great day for taking leaps of faith, putting yourself out there, and taking initiative on the life that you want.
As May winds down, we enter Gemini season on the 20th, offering a chance to be freed from Taurus’ firm (and cozy) grip that keeps us in our comfort zone. Instead, start to network, connect, share your thoughts, and start to ideate on new projects. Just a few days later, on the 23rd, Venus (the planet of love, sex, beauty, and money) enters Gemini and asks us to flirt and to avoid putting all of our eggs in one basket when it comes to dating, friendships, and business opportunities. This is a great time to think about implementing multiple streams of income, put yourself back into the dating pool, or shoot all of the metaphorical shots you can. And finally, when May 25 arrives so does the transition of Jupiter (the planet of luck, good fortune, and expansion) into charming Gemini. This will be a major energetic upgrade for anyone with Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo, or Pisces placements for the next 12 months.
And don’t forget how far you’ve already come: We entered April still in the midst of Aries season, which encouraged us to be bold and take risks in order to reach our goals. It was a great time to tap into your confidence and leave uncertainty and insecurity behind you. On April 8 we had a major new moon solar eclipse in Aries, which marked the start of a new chapter in our lives. As March wound down, we ended with a full moon Lunar eclipse in Libra. This major lunation brought undeniable shifts and changes for all zodiac signs, but especially for Libra, Gemini, Aquarius, Cancer, Aries, and Capricorn placements.
As February progressed, we had Venus (the planet of love, sex, beauty, and money) conjunct outer planet Pluto, both in the sign of Aquarius. This brought a big shake-up in our closest relationships and where we felt like we fit in the world. January was a month full of transformative and passionate transits. We started off January with the sun in calculated and driven Capricorn, encouraging us all to bring our dreams to life through tangible and actionable steps. A week later, a new moon in Capricorn arrived, which helped us to plant seeds of intention and finally get clear about who we want to be going forward.
