Meagan Good engaged to Jonathan Majors after 1 year of dating, supporting him at assault trial

Jonathan Majors is going to be a married man.
The ousted Marvel actor, who was found guilty last year of assaulting his ex, announced his engagement to Meagan Good at the Ebony Power 100 Gala on Sunday evening.
As the couple posed for red carpet pics, Good, 43, flashed her diamond ring from her new fiancé, whom she supported throughout his trial.

The actress, who sparkled in a gold gown, explained to E! News why they chose to share the milestone with the public at the event.
âEbony Power 100 is the event that we met at in the bathrooms, in the unisex bathrooms,â she recalled.
When the duo first crossed paths in 2022, Majors, 35, was dating Grace Jabbari.

In March 2023, the âDa 5 Bloodsâ star was arrested over an alleged assault against the dancer.
Majors moved on with Good amid his legal battle, with the pair making their romance public in May 2023.
The âStomp the Yardâ star showed support for her partner at multiple court hearings leading up to his conviction.

In December 2023, Majors was found guilty of assault in the third degree and harassment.
He was subsequently sentenced to a 52-week in-person domestic violence intervention program, while his ex was granted an order of protection.
When Majors broke his silence on the verdict in a January ABC News interview, he called it âvery difficult and confusing.â

Jabbari has since accused him of strangling and defaming her in a bombshell lawsuit filed in March.
Majors, who has yet to address those claims, gushed to Us Weekly in June that Good is his âbest friendâ and âmakes [him] good.â
