She said, “I think Coach Landers’ style of coaching was geared toward developing players for future careers, either in basketball or otherwise. When I played at Georgia, I never understood why he was so demanding all the time; however, after being coached by him, I now know I could take anything thrown at me down the road.”
Post-college, she started her professional journey in Italy. Her dreams of playing in the WNBA came true only in 2001, when she made her way back to the USA and signed Charlotte Sting. It was only then that Bubba Watson admitted his love for her, and they started dating.
Her short-lived WNBA career came to an end in 2003 due to her many injuries. In 2004, she tied the knot with the American professional golfer. The year 2021 was an upward turn for her professional career, as the pro-golfer’s wife became the head women’s basketball coach at East Hill Christian School in Florida.
