Tanita, who is an illustrator, was born in Germany but raised in Texas until her parents broke up, according to People.

The retired NFL player is also the father of 19-year-old twin daughters Isabella and Sophia, whom he shares with ex-wife Jean Muggli. They divorced in 2006 after seven years of marriage.

Over the past year, Strahan and his family have made headlines amid his daughter Isabella’s cancer battle.

In October 2023, Isabella was diagnosed with brain cancer after experiencing headaches and nausea at the start of her freshman year at the University of Southern California.

Shortly after, she underwent emergency surgery to remove the “fast-growing, 4-centimeter tumor” doctors found during an MRI.

Strahan took weeks off of work to support his daughter as she underwent several procedures.
